When first I saw this amazing piece of paper form the Maggie Holmes Open Book Collection, I kept thinking about the fabulous character of Edna Mode from the Incredibles...

Today I'm working out how I used this amazing Edna Mode quote to document what "FORWARD" means to me. over on the Inside out Blog...

Hello, my wonderful friends!  I am well entrenched in January and really getting some focus around how I want this year to shape up. I don't always start this process in December because I sort of like to wallow in the Holiday season and don't put a tremendous effort into starting the year with any bangs. For me at least, purposeful steps toward change make more progress than trying to change everything all at once.

But I've been at work on some goals for this year. Today I'm talking about the Story Behind the Art of my layout 2015 on the Inside Out Blog

Check out how I used Inside Out's FORWARD kit,  to document my list of "things to do" in 2015.

January signals for many a fresh start, a new page in a 365 page blank book - a new story to wrtie, a new opportunity to try things, set goals, work at a better future.

The January kit from Inside Out is a perfect way to document the FORWARD direction of the fresh new year:

Its full of  inspiration and great shapes, amazing sentiments, and papers to explore moving FORWARD.

I plan on documenting my goals, my One Little Word and a couple of other things...

Card Friday

In the bleak midwinter...

Well, technically, midwinter was in December.

Even though technically the days are getting longer, January feels always feels cold and dark to me.

In its way, it IS like a new beginning...from the dark to the light.

I'm focused today on some cards to bring a little life to January.

These are from an Embellish It Kit...

I feel like maybe I'll send a few cards out to brighten somebody else's January.

I mean, I like getting things in the mail that are not bills or advertising...don't you?

Ooooo...I have an idea!!! Who wants these two cards!?!?!?!?

I can just pop them into an envelope for somebody else to use....

Anyone interested?

Peace, ya'll!
