For me, this is like the unfolding of a handmade quilt...each time you see a new square, you see the care and planning, patience and effort that went into its making.
This month at Scrapbooking From the Inside Out is all about DISCOVERY...for me, this is rarely a surprise event, but more of a gradual thing, that I see 20/20 after the fact.
Don't get me wrong, I've had my share of epiphanies...what life doesn't have those? It just seems, tho, that most of my realizations happen following longer journeys:

This is beautiful. I love the journaling, and I love the quilt as metaphor. (Kinda feel like my own quilt has been shaken out and beaten and thrown in a corner all wadded up. But the idea of "a beautiful life unfolding" REALLY inspires me. Thanks for sharing this.
